Stefania Zorzi was born on April 4, 1985, in Gavardo (BS, Italy); lives in Lower Austria.
In 2010, she graduated in Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts L.A.B.A. of Brescia. Between 2008 and 2009 she attended, during the Erasmus program, the Facultad de Bellas Artes of Cuenca (Spain).

Stefania Zorzi's artworks are fragments of life that challenge all our attention and analysis. They thrust us into a world of events and intimate confessions, which makes the bond between art and life even stronger.
​
The artistic research of Zorzi focuses on the connections between the body, its continuous construction, and its unstoppable consumption of space and matter. Her works are glimpses of life and the constant metamorphosis of the self.
Stefania’s photographs (made with self-timer) reveal a daily life that, reinterpreted, leads to the discovery of loneliness and the difficulties encountered in establishing one’s own identity within a contemporary era.
Using metaphors and symbols in her photographs Stefania Zorzi represents the relations between surrounding influences - real, imaginary or social - and emotions. Particular attention is given to objects, memory and relationships, and how they are connected inside and outside of us.
Additionally she works on several projects (photos, videos, boxes, objects, etc.) in which people from all areas of life are the focus. Identity and communication still remain her main theme.
